• Sending funds via bank account debit with cash or account credit pickup at bank branches or authorized Western Union locations nationwide.
• Fund transfers and receipts through bank accounts via branches, Krungthai ATMs, and the Krungthai Next application.

1. Transactions via Bank Branches and Authorized Western Union Exchange Booths Nationwide
   • Inbound Transfer (Receiving Money):
     • Present the 10-digit Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) and expected amount, along with a valid ID card or passport.
     • Receive the funds in cash or credited to a bank account, along with a receipt.
   • Outbound Transfer (Sending Money):
     • Provide recipient details including full name, destination country, currency, and amount, along with a valid ID card or passport.
     • The transaction will be processed by Bank staff via the system.
     • Upon completion, you will receive a receipt and the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).
     • Share the MTCN, sender’s name, transfer amount, and country of origin with the recipient.
2. Transactions via Krungthai Bank Account, available through the following channels:
   • ATM
   • Krungthai NEXT Mobile application 

• Registration via Krungthai ATM
  • Customers are required to have a Krungthai Bank account and ATM card. If not, an account can be opened and an ATM can be requested at any Krungthai Bank branch.
  • Customers must complete the application form for the Krungthai-Western Union service via ATM, available at all Krungthai Bank branches.
• Registration via Krungthai NEXT Mobile Application (New!)
  • Customers are required to have a Krungthai Bank account and be registered for the Krungthai NEXT service. If not, both account opening and registration can be completed at any Krungthai branch.
  • Customers must download the latest version of the Krungthai NEXT application via the App Store (for iOS) or Play Store (for Android).

To enhance the security of international transactions via Western Union, Krungthai Bank will implement the following update effective March 22, 2025. Customers holding Myanmar, Lao, or Nepalese nationality will be able to use Western Union services exclusively via the Krungthai NEXT mobile app or Krungthai ATMs.
