Krungthai Bank, in collaboration with UNDP Thailand and Raks Thai Foundation, initiated the #UNDP Krungthai Loves Koh Tao Initiative. This project is designed to inspire the local community to become self-reliant and foster sustainable growth. We aim to achieve this by enhancing financial literacy, developing their skills, creating job opportunities, and promoting awareness of environmental conservation, biodiversity, and the harmonious coexistence with nature.
Through this collective effort, we align our business operations with the United Nations’ sustainability framework and the Sustainable Development Goals, namely the goal of Life Below Water, which aims to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development, and the goal of Partnerships for the Goals, which aims to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
